Admission to SDEC International School is determined by many factors. Prospective students are
expected to show a strong learning ethic, a track record of appropriate school behavior, and a
genuine desire to be part of SDEC International School. Teachers play a crucial role in supporting
students to become confident, independent learners, and we anticipate full parental support and
involvement in their children’s education.
SDEC International School places emphasis on understanding and supporting its mission to cater
to a diverse student population, encompassing various racial, ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic
backgrounds. The school community, including administrators, teachers, students, and parents,
collaborates to uphold an inclusive learning environment.
Admission decisions are based on a combination of factors, including academic evaluations,
English proficiency, prior school records, student interviews and classroom observations for
Early Years. As for Primary and Secondary students, English and Mathematics entrance tests are administered.
The academic year spans from June to March for Year 2 to Year 9 and from June to May for Nursery
