To enable students become globally competitive Myanmar citizens through:

• Fostering civilized students to appreciate Myanmar tradition and culture.
• Preparing all learners develop into educated, productive, responsible and involved citizenship in an ever-changing world.

In terms of Teaching & Learning, there are 10 Primary Aims for our SDEC students as follow:

1. To nurture with focus on all round, balanced development especially in terms of intellectual and emotional dimensions


2. To develop inclusive education by promoting students’ learning equally despite of any differences in disability and language


3. To become a student with high spirits with a sense of belonging Myanmar Citizenship who appreciates, maintains, and disseminates languages, literatures, cultures, arts, and traditional customs of all national ethnic groups that all are entitled to the constitutional rights


4. To become good citizens with well-developed 21st century skills and develop knowledge and skills for higher education


5. To become competent in our official language, Myanmar and English as an International Communicative Language


6. To become a student with enough fitness, strong physique and sportsmanship by participating in the Physical Education Activities and school healthcare to apply in their real life


7. To become a student who is appreciative of natural green environment practically with a caring attitude, loving attitude of nature, and having awareness of sustainability


8. To become a student with a concept that he/she as well is part of the global community with a vivid awareness and appreciation of human diversity and abilities to practice basic knowledge of peace, adaptation, and appreciation of beautiful differences in cultures, traditions, customs, and practices around the world


9. To become a good Myanmar Citizen, taking a natural pride in being a Myanmar Citizen, well-cultured and educated, having a great appreciation on his civic and democratic practices in daily life; who loves his country and always be ready to abide by the law

Intellectual growth aim includes development in students’ critical thinking, civility, and friendly relations. Emotional growth mainly aims at maturity in feelings, interests and values. Practical skills development aim includes competency in bilingual, both English and Myanmar languages, Maths, Natural Science, Social Studies and Information Technology skills. Spiritual growth development in whole hearted soul-enrichment. It is one of the latest addition for education aims. They must be ready and qualified to get admissions to Universities and Colleges in and abroad. They must be able to transfer to any appropriate or equivalent grade in the public schools if need arises in accordance with the Education Ministry’s Private Education Law prescriptions.
