Almost all of our Faculty Members are Expatriates or Local Teachers with internationally competitive
qualifications with their Bachelor’s, Master’s, Ph D’s in addition to other Diplomas, or Certifications
on their respective specializations. Moreover, there are teachers with Cambridge Recognized Teaching
Qualifications such as TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, DELTA, TKT etc…
In upper Secondary Classes, in IGCSE, for instance, most of the teachers are Ex-Professors or Ex-Lecturers
from a variety of Universities or Degree Colleges who have been in the teaching industry for a number of decades.
As for Primary Teachers, and Pre-School Teachers, all of them underwent ECCD & ECCE in addition
to their First or Second Degrees. Every teacher at SDEC speaks English fluently and they encourage
all children to speak English since the beginning of their early childhood.
